Lane works with high net worth clients in the areas of corporate law, general business matters, and commercial real estate.
Representation within the corporate and general business areas includes mergers and acquisitions, corporate financings, entity formation and structure, business planning, succession planning, as well as general business matters and advice. Lane also advises clients in the areas of commercial real estate, including the structuring of development opportunities, leasing for both tenants and landlords, acquisitions, dispositions, and real estate financings. In addition, Lane serves as outside general counsel for various clients, including non-profit entities.
Currently serving on the board of directors for the Ending Community Homelessness Coalition (ECHO), Lane has also had the privilege of serving on numerous other non-profit boards in the past, including Caritas of Austin, Umlauf Sculpture Garden and Museum, the Austin chapter of the American Cancer Society, the Community Advisory Board for Helping Hand Home, and the Seton Forum.
Lane graduated from University of Texas School of Law in 1991 after receiving his B.B.A. in 1982 from the University of Texas at Austin.
